LÉTRANGE Paris 1838
Although Paris is a large metropolitan, sometimes chance encounters can happen – like with Sacrebleu Paris and Létrange. The story of Létrange started nearly two centuries ago, when Auguste Lespiaut set up as a saddle maker close to the Palais du Louvre stables in Paris. After World War II, the House expanded into textile. His son-in-law, Armand Létrange succeeded him and broadened the range of products and was later succeeded by Henriette Létrange. After being acquainted with the Létrange it was discovered that their first location was just down the street from Stephanie’s (Sacrebleu’s CEO) family business years ago!
Sébastien Létrange from the family’s 7th generation, a prolific world explorer, became passionate about this family history and to bring Létrangeback to life partnered with Mathias Jaquemet in 2018. Mathias immediately shared the same virtuous ambition based on fundamentals & on know-how in haute leather crafting. Létrange is a legacy of a Parisian brand that is almost two hundred years old.
Létrange opened its first Parisian store in November, at 332 rue Saint Honoré. The brand is also available at the Paris department store Galeries Lafayette. The ground floor is classically designed with minimalist interiors displaying their incredible handcrafted handbags and the first floor is reserved for a VIP lounge.
